Satellite Images Reveal Damage from Indian Strikes on Pak Terror Camps
The Indian Armed Forces have unveiled high-resolution satellite images that starkly document the aftermath of Operation Sindoor, a precision military offensive targeting terror infrastructure deep inside Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK). The before-and-after visuals clearly show widespread devastation at key terror hubs and Pakistani military airfields.
The coordinated strikes were launched in retaliation for the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, which claimed 26 civilian lives. According to Indian defence sources, the attacks were surgically executed across nine terror sites—four in mainland Pakistan and five in PoK—affecting operations of notorious terror outfits including Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), and Hizbul Mujahideen.

Destruction at Known Terror Hotbeds
Among the most severely hit locations were Muridke and Bahawalpur. Muridke, often referred to as the “terror heartland” of Pakistan, houses the headquarters of Lashkar-e-Taiba. The facility sprawls over 200 acres and serves as a major training and logistical center. Satellite visuals confirm significant structural damage to the facility, indicating deep-penetration strikes.
Bahawalpur, the base of JeM and its founder Masood Azhar, also suffered extensive hits. Azhar's group is infamously responsible for the 26/11 Mumbai attacks. The images reveal craters and collapsed structures, confirming India’s targeting of core operational infrastructure.
Strategic Strikes on Pakistan’s Military Infrastructure
In response to Pakistan’s drone aggression on Indian territory following the strikes on terror camps, India launched a retaliatory wave against Pakistani military installations. According to Air Marshal AK Bharti, 11 air bases were struck within a span of three hours — a first-of-its-kind attack on a nuclear-armed nation’s air force facilities.
Targets included air defence systems, radar installations, and ammunition depots in Nur Khan (Chaklala), Sialkot, Sukkur, Rahim Yar Khan, Rafiqui, and Jacobabad, among others. Images show significant impact at the Pasrur, Chunian, and Sargodha air defence sites, confirming India’s ability to breach strategic depth while exercising restraint.
“We sent a clear signal without escalating the conflict beyond the threshold. Our strikes were precise, focused, and aimed to dismantle terror logistics without causing civilian casualties,” Air Marshal Bharti stated.
Tensions Along the Border
Operation Sindoor has intensified Indo-Pak tensions. Following the 24 missile strikes conducted in just 25 minutes, Pakistan launched multiple waves of drone and missile attacks targeting Indian positions across Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, and Rajasthan.
Despite declaring a ceasefire late Saturday, Pakistan reportedly violated it within hours. However, Indian defence officials described Sunday night as “the first calm” period in over a week, with no new hostilities reported along the Line of Control (LoC) or the International Border.
This operation marks a decisive shift in India’s counterterrorism doctrine—striking at core leadership and logistics of terror groups, rather than merely intercepting operatives on the ground.
